Finding the time

This is one of those spur of the moment posts, with no plan and no structure.. I’m completely winging it.

Recently, I’ve been feeling a little too busy for my liking. There’s so much that I want to do and need to do, however there’s not enough time in the day.. Ya feel me? With being at University 4 times a week, working both days at the weekend and spending my day off catching up with Uni work, I’m struggling to find the extra time to do everything in-between.

Living away from home means that I have to take part in the adulting world. You know, food shopping, cleaning my room, doing laundry…ugh no thank you! But what about finding the time to do the things that I want? Blogging, going to the gym, socialising with friends, exploring London, binge watching Stranger Things.. how on earth am I able to fit everything in!

Maybe I’m being a little naive and should have known it from the start really. The student life is basically having to accept that there will be a work overload. It’s annoying that I have to work on weekends as well *rolls eyes*, as I don’t get any days off to look forward too. Of course it’s all about being able to balance your schedule and making time for things.. but I haven’t quite managed to master this just yet.

Hopefully I will learn how to be super organised whilst also being able to do the leisure activities that makes me happy. In the mean time, I need to finish procrastinating by writing this post, and get back to more readings and work for Uni.. oh the joys! How do you guys manage your time keeping?

All I have left to say is welcome to the real world Leanne…

University life is hard, especially if you’re trying to juggle uni life and a job. I can see why you’d have no time left, as your only day off is bound to be spent ‘adulting.’ I’m sure with time you’ll find a better balance, though. Good luck 🙂
